In Birmingham they collect a lot of rubbish & control the 'recycling' depot - ie they do the job that the council should do/it's been contracted out to them,

rather than council workers collecting it..

Veolia are a TNC over which we have little control, and while i agree that this is a legitimate target for those opposed to the Israeli mistreatment of Palestinians, we surely can't not put out our bins!

You raise an interesting point. Veolia are not only an Israeli company but a key part of the out sourcing of local government services.

One way of raising the need for a boycott and indeed carrying that out could be exactly to arrange a mass boycott of bins, or a communal rubbish tip maybe in the Bull Ring.
