There is another demonstration in response to the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Gaza scheduled to take place in London this (Monday 29 December) afternoon between 4.00 and 6.00 PM outside the Zionist Embassy (2 Palace Green Road, W8, just metres away from High Street Kensington Tube, Circle and District lines). Expect heavy policing after the Met was unable to maintain control of the street on Sunday afternoon.

Another large and lively demo outside the Israeli Embassy in London once more today (Monday) with the promise of some of daily protests each late afternoon/early evening for the foreseeable future.

Though the police presence was much larger, better equipped (complete with horses and a substantial complement of riot gear) and organised the Met again conceded control of Kensington High Street for an extended period.

There has been a national demonstration called for this Saturday (03 January 09) assembling at a central London venue to be confirmed c 2.00 PM.

There have been lively protests for two days outside the BBC in Manchester. On Sunday around 300-400, mainly Palestinians, and on Monday around 40.

There will be another protest there this evening at 5.00pm

According to both Stop the War and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign the details have changed for the national demonstration in London on Saturday 03 January - assemble at the Embankment at 12.30 PM rather than Parliament Square.
