I'd like to congratulate you on an excellent analysis of current conditions. My view is still that although the severity of the Financial crisis is likely to produce a recession in Britain, the US and some EU countries, as well as Japan, the continued - even though slowed - growth of the world's new conomic power house in China and other parts of Asia, together with the huge reserves of Capital in the Middle East, alongside the mobilisation of this Capital and monetary and fiscal stimulus in the West will mean that any recession is short lived - though in those countries which are heavily indebted it could be very sharp.

I believe that in Britain and the US the conequence will be very high rates of inflation as the economies come out of this recession.

(Nb. I noticed today that I had transposed the lines for Capital and land/Property on the graphs,and have not yet corrected them).

I had th misfortune to notice the AWL's ake on the crisis and their Xmas list of demands in response to it. They may as well post it to Santa as post it up in workplaces. But, the statist, Lassallean politics which belies it is not confined to just the AWL as I point out here.
