Absolutely agree. The student movement must stand shoulder to shoulder with the workers' movement.

Hundreds of thousands. Hundreds storming unis and waving red flags. Blockading state parliaments. Occupying trains to get to the capital.

AMAZING.

Puts our 12 strong banner dropping in Manchester in solidarity with the students in Italy (and Germany, France etc of course) to shame. Even the 300 strong occupation of the Arthur Lewis building, the crowning glory of our uni's activism. If only we had the levels of spontaneous action there are in Germany. The very idea that such things would happen in Britain right now! Shows how far we have to go; the scale of our task.
