Bolivian Revolution of 1952 - polemic with the POR

Gramar complains in his reply that the impact of the degeneration of the Fourth International "does not even figure" in our analysis of the POR. UK anti-terrorism laws used to ban magazine

The OURAIM publication on Hamas and Hizbullah was effectively shut down and made illegal by the British state today on 9th June. This took place at approx 3.30pm, towards the end of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign demonstration to commemorate the 40th year of the Israeli military occupation of Palestinian territories taken in the 1967 war.

South African public sector wages battle: general strike in the pipeline?

A coalition of 19 public sector unions, the largest of them affiliated to the Confederation of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) launched a national strike at the beginning of June in pursuit of a 12% wage claim. The ANC-led coalition government has not only rejected the workers' demands, but sent troops to strikebound schools and hospitals. As George B reports the stakes are mounting as workers have overwhelmingly said "no" to the employers' latest offer and COSATU has indicated that it is prepared to call out private sector workers in a move towards a nationwide general strike.

Australia: As bosses attack – no more waiting for Labor - PR2
